This is a beautiful loop on Cape Byron, leading to the iconic lighthouse, Australia's most eastern location, in New South Wales.
This trail is easy with only a few steps and is particularly popular with locals for walking or running. There are access points to Wategos, the Pass and more beaches for a swim break on the way. The views on the coast and the turquoise ocean are incredible throughout the hike, and even more so at sunset or sunrise. Marine life is visible from the trail, the lucky ones might spot dolphins, turtles and even whales at the right season.
The Bundjalung people are the Traditional Custodians of the land where Cape Byron is located.
