This is a great loop in the ancient woodland of King’s Wood in the Kent Downs National Landscape. This is an easy trail on well maintained forest tracks with light uphills and downhills. There are many trails in the woods making it a little difficult to navigate at ties. The hike offers a tapestry of nature and heritage within the King's Wood, once a royal hunting ground teeming with fallow deer and diverse trees. There is also a unique collection of sculptures and artworks created by inspired artists along the way. The flower blooms are impressive in spring and add to the enchanting serenity of the walk. Hikers will have to share the trail with cyclists and runners, especially on weekends.
