The beautiful Ranui loop trail to ascent Mount Maunganui starts at the base of the mount and is directly accessible through the town of Tauranga. This short trail offers surprising and beautiful views of the town from above and on the Bay of Plenty. It's possible to spot seals along the coast throughout the walk. The walk is even more beautiful at sunrise.
