Departing from the White Horse Hill camp ground near Mount Cook Village, this easy there and back trail leads to the popular Hooker Lake. This lake was formed in the 1970s with the retreat of the Hooker glacier, and continuously extends since that date.
Landscapes on the way are magnificent and varied, including glaciers, icebergs, a river, and several suspension bridges.
Note that this trail can be crowded in Summer.
