This is a great there-and-back trail to ascend Mount Manaia in the Whangārei Heads locality, Northland. The walk is a bit steep and there are a few passages with stairs that can get a little muddy in times of rain. The path is covered by trees and offers beautiful openings with breathtaking views of the mountains across the water and the Whangārei Port.
