This there-and-back hike begins close to Pekerua Bay train station and follows the Te Araroa Trail all the way to Paekakariki, Wellington. The trail offers amazing views from the cliffs onto the ocean, the nature and towns around. The terrain can be a bit difficult, with suspended bridges, stairs and narrow passages at the top of the cliffs. Not recommended for people who are afraid of heights.
