The Quiraing loop is a fantastic hike with dramatic scenery in north western Scotland. The trail is difficult, although the gradient is moderate, because of its demanding terrain, with narrow paths, steep drops, a scramble along a gully and loose rocks. The Quiraing route is steeped in legends of fairies, dragons, and even dinosaur footprints hidden within the landscape. Hikers will enjoy panoramic vistas as they climb and at the top the views are simply spectacular and well-worth the effort.
