This is a one way hike on the Great North Walk between Thornleigh and Hornsby stations, which makes it easy to do without a car. The trail is moderate and comfortable to walk on with a few more challenging passages in the mid-section (creek crossing and rocky patches). The hike begins under the lush canopy and moves through lush vegetation, offering a serene and calming experience a few steps away from the bustle of Sydney. There are also many natural water features and unique looking rock formations on the way.
