This is a challenging but oh so worth it hike to summit Mount Amos in the Freycinet National Park, Tasmania. The track begins at the car park and becomes steep quickly and includes a fair amount of scrambling to get to the top. The terrain being majoritarily rocky it’s best not to attempt after the rain as the track becomes very slippery. The views at the top are very rewarding and beautiful on the Freycinet Peninsula and Cole's Bay. The white sand beach looks magical in the distance.
