This is a lovely there-and-back trail on the east side of Mount Wellington, also known as Kunanyi, following the Pinnacle and Organ Pipes tracks, not far from Hobart. The trail is moderate with some narrow rocky passages and a steady incline on the way up, but still manageable. On the way there are beautiful views of Hobart, the Derwent River and the Tasman Peninsula amongst the tree openings, but the most impressive of all might well be the Organ Pipes rock formation that stands above the path. This is a popular place to climb. The views at the top are particularly spectacular at sunrise.
