This is a great loop along the Long Mynd, a heath and moorland plateau in the Shropshire Hills beginning on the edge of Church Stretton passing by Pole Bank Peak. The route is moderate albeit long, but well maintained following gravelly footpaths and dirt trails. The hike’s gradient is moderate beginning uphill, with a descent climb to the waterfall and then gradually comes back down. The views are scenic throughout the walk, as the trail snakes along the small stream and its waterfall, there are also great lookouts on Light Spout Waterfall, Little Stretton and the many hills in the area.
