This is a great historical loop that offers stunning views immersed in nature near Tintern in the Wye Valley National Landscape (AONB). The trail is moderate following a well-maintained path with some steeper sections to ascend Devil’s Pulpit.
Starting at Tintern Abbey, the path leads to Wireworks Bridge and up to Devil's Pulpit, a legendary viewpoint, with scenic vistas on the surrounding landscapes and River Wye and Severn. The route boasts scenic paths winding through woodlands, where hikers might spot wildlife.
