This is a lovely loop along the River Arun in the South Downs National Park. The trail is moderate, beginning with a gentle uphill and then stays flat for the rest of the walk. While the path offers stunning scenery, there can be some occasional overgrowth and muddy patches. This picturesque journey starts at the museum and heritage centre and this trail offers a captivating mix of landscapes, winding through fields, verdant forests, the gentle banks of the River Arun, and the diverse wetland haven of the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust. This delightful river walk promises a memorable blend of natural beauty, historical intrigue, and a touch of countryside charm.
