This is a great there-and-back hike through woodland at Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve and passing through the famous Devil’s Humps. The trail is relatively moderate, beginning in the charming village of West Stoke and traversing gentle hills; some sections of the paths can be steep or with some steps and potentially muddy, especially after rain. The Devil’s Humps are Bronze Age burial mounds, and there are remnants of an Iron Age settlement. Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve is definitely a captivating sanctuary for both nature lovers and history buffs alike!
