A beautiful loop track starting near Karekare Beach south of Piha in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, not far from Auckland. This coastal path follows the popular Mercer Loop. The track is well maintained and begins with a set of steep passages and stairs but the views overlooking the ocean are well worth it. From the cliffs, the abundant coastal flora is the perfect addition to the scenic blue backdrop of the water.
