Discover the amazing Kaiaraara Rocks also known as Duke’s Nose with this superb there-and-back track near Totara North. The trail, starting by the Wairakau Stream Track, is narrow, with a few steep passages and a section where there is a metal bar across a rock face that one will need to grab onto to climb up.

The views on Whangaroa Harbor as well as those on Waihi Creek and their turquoise water are well worth it. The mountainous ranges around are so lush and create an otherworldly atmosphere. A gorgeous hike all the way through!
