This is a scenic loop trail within Glenariff Forest, part of the stunning Antrim Coast and Glens National Landscape (AONB), leading to the impressive Ess-na-Crub waterfall and offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding green landscape.
The trail is moderate, starting at the main car park, following the path alongside the river to the Ess-na-Crub waterfall. The trail then continues uphill with scenic views along the way. At the top hikers will be rewarded by breathtaking panoramas of the Antrim Coast and Glens. The terrain can be a little uneven at times. Hikers will also have many opportunities to spot some wonderful wildlife.
