This is a challenging loop to ascend Slieve Binnian and North Tor Peaks in the Mourne Mountains National Landscape (AONB), which offer panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape, including valleys, reservoirs, and mountains. The route follows a historic wall and ascends two difficult peaks before descending past a scenic lake and through woodlands. The terrain is varied and the path can sometimes be rocky and quite steep. The views at the top are worth the effort.
