After leaving from Breil, this route runs along the Flem river for the most part before continuing to gain height until you reach the Bifertenhütte, a refuge located at an altitude of 2,482 metres. Located at the foot of Kistenstöckli, it takes place in a very pleasant setting, and it is possible to spend the night there to cut this hike in two.
