This is an incredible there-and-back hike along the Boynton Canyon Trail in the Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, Arizona. The trail is moderate with a bit of an uphill gradient and is a little shaded throughout. The views will simply take hikers' breath away, with ocre stones rising tall in the desert and arid landscape of Sedona. The trail is quite popular and can be quite challenging in summer due to really high temperatures. Autumn offers spectacularly colorful landscapes.
