The Angels Landing Trail is a challenging and incredible trail in Zion National Park in Utah. The route is difficult, initially following an open paved path along the West Rim Trail with a descent uphill gradient. Inside the Refrigerator Canyon, the path is in the shade and the temperature is cooler. To arrive at Angel’s Landing, the trail follows a steep and narrow path along the ridge, where hikers will have to scramble a bit. There are some metal railing and chains to help with the climb. The views at the top are panoramic and incredible on the impressive ochre mountain cliff faces and the canyon below in a beautiful arid landscape, making the hike well-worth the effort.
