This is an incredibly challenging and beautiful there-and-back hike to ascend Half Dome along the John Muir Trail in Yosemite National Park. The trail is very difficult, steep and intense, thus requiring hikers to be in good shape to undertake it. The very last part of the journey follows the cable route, along an incredibly steep gradient. The trail boasts an incredible amount of views over famous natural landmarks including Vernal and Nevada Falls, Liberty Cap, the Yosemite Valley, and the High Sierra.
