This is a spectacular there-and-back hike to Emerald Lake and passing by the Nymph and Dream lakes as well, nestled in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The trail is moderate as it meanders along the Tyndall Gorge following a rocky path passing woodlands and offering incredible views on the surrounding mountains, including Flattop Mountain along the way. The gradient is moderate going uphill on the way to the lake. This hike is simply a feast for the eye.
