Snowdon via Llanberis Path

Snowdon via Llanberis Path

Exceptional trail

Length

15km

Duration

7h

Elev gain

984m

This is an incredible and challenging route to ascend Yr Wyddfa also known as Snowdon via the Llanberis Path, in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). Yr Wyddfa is the highest mountain in Wales at over 1,085 metres above sea level.

Although the climb is challenging, this is the easiest route to ascend Yr Wyddfa. The trail is relatively moderate until closer to the summit where the path becomes steeper but the track is well-maintained. The vistas on the way are beautiful and the views on the Snowdonian landscape at the top are spectacular and make it well-worth it.
