This is an incredible and challenging route to ascend Snowdon also known as Yr Wyddfa, via the Pyg and Miners' Tracks, in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia). Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at over 1,085 metres above sea level.
The trail is difficult, beginning with a moderate gradient that quickly leads to a steeper and rocky section, where hikers will have to scramble. The way down is also steep and rocky. The route is even more challenging when weather conditions are not good and hikers should proceed with care. The vistas on the way are beautiful and the views on the Snowdonian landscape at the top are spectacular and make it well-worth it.
