In the woodlands close to Ystradfellte, this lovely loop passes four fantastic waterfalls in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. The trail is moderate following a wide gravel track and some smaller paths, with some challenging passages when getting to the waterfalls. Often the terrain becomes rocky and there are dips in the trail. There are also some stair passages along the way.
The four waterfalls, Uchaf Clun Gwyn, Sgwd y Pannwr, Sgwd Isaf Clun Gwyn, and Sgwd yr Eira, are so impressive with their strong current water powerfully flowing. This trail can become very busy on weekends and during the summer.
