This is a great loop trail, partly following Katherine River in the Nitmiluk National Park. The route is easy combining small trails with larger tracks and a few stair sections. The hike follows a path that is elevated above the river and offers fantastic viewpoints on the gorge and the surrounding landscape. In summer, it’s best to do the hike earlier in the day to avoid the heat.
