This is a great loop to the Cataract Gorge and around the Duck Reach Power Station near West Launceston in Tasmania. The trail is moderate with varied terrain with one steeper section. The hike follows the river on the Duck Reach Trail to come back on the Trevallyn Walk. The scenery is lovely with the rocky river banks and the abundant wildlife.
