This is a fantastic and quaint little loop around Plenty Gorge Park following the Yellow Gum Circuit, north of Melbourne; ideal to escape the bustle of the city for a day. The trail is relatively easy and offers a variety of different landscapes. From forest walk, to open field track while passing by the Blue Lake with its unique rocky terraced forest, the hike definitely keeps it interesting. There is also quite a bit of wildlife activity around with kangaroos and lovely birds.
