Embark on this challenging loop to ascend Scafell Pike, England's loftiest peak in the Lake District National Park. From Seathwaite, the exposed and rocky trail passes Styhead Tarn and Lingmell Col, to finally reach the summit through a boulder field. In general, the trail is very steep, be it uphill or downhill and might require some scrambling but it is definitely worth the effort. The scenery is fantastic and dramatic throughout, with incredible mountainous landscapes and vistas. Sometimes the visibility can be limited which can render the walk more hazardous.
