This is a fantastic and beautiful loop around Loughrigg Fell in the Lake District National Park. The trail is moderate with a steeper section close to the summit, as it follows a combination of rocky trails, paved road, narrow footpaths with some stony paved stairs and sections. The views are fantastic throughout, be it at the top on days with high visibility overlooking the surrounding hills and on the waters of Loughrigg Tarn, Grasmere and Rydal Water along the way. Rydal Cave is also a great detour if hikers want to add a bit to their adventure.
