This is a great loop to Gowbarrow Fell summit passing by beautiful waterfalls in the Lake District National Park. The trail is moderate but uneven with certain sections that are steeper and can be muddy and slippery. The route begins to go uphill with a decent gradient to the summit with two water crossings close to the start of the trail. At the top the views on Ullswater and the surrounding area are lovely. In spring, nature is blooming with a wonderful variety of wildflowers and in winter, there are some chances to see snowy peaks in the distance. This walk is a lovely combination of natural water features and glorious landscapes.
