Otterton Coastal and River Loop

This is a scenic loop through the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the dramatic coastline and the Otter Valley. The trail starts in the charming village of Otterton, by the historic Otterton Mill. The route traverses the village and farmland, gradually descending towards the breathtaking coastline. The grassy footpath offers panoramic views of Chiselbury Bay. Reaching the Otterhead on the River Otter estuary, the route turns inland following the river. This scenic route offers breathtaking panoramas of the coastline and rolling countryside on a clear day.
