From Mont-Dore, this hike is challenging. The path passes very close to the Queureuilh and Rossignolet waterfalls before crossing the Cheneau wood. It then climbs and passes through various puys: de la Tâche, de Barbier and de l'Angle. The return joins the starting point by the Grande Cascade. The landscapes are magnificent.
