Here is a long and sporty hike in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, starting from the hamlet of Fau.
The route climbs rapidly to the summit of the Puy Violent, located at an altitude of 1,592 meters, before continuing via the Roc des Ombres (1,633 m) and the Roc d'Hozières (1,614 m).
In the end, this route circles three beautiful Cantal peaks and requires good physical condition.
