Once past Vizzavona, you enter the GR20 South and the contrast is striking. The stages get longer, but become less technical and uneven, more gentle.
This tenth stage begins with a wide forest track climbing up to Bocca Palmente, from where the view is very beautiful. Then the path continues through the Alzeta sheepfolds, which are no longer in operation, and through the Sambuccu forest.
