With more than 17 kilometers, this is the second longest stage of the GR20. It takes place mainly in the undergrowth on the slopes of Monte Renoso, passing through the sheepfolds of Traggette then the plateau of Ghjalgone.
Once past Verde Pass, the trail climbs hard to Bocca d'Oru, from where the view of Monte d'Oro and Monte Renoso is magnificent.
Note that it is possible to eat and even sleep at Col de Verde, for those who wish to cut the stage.
