Departing from Steinbach, this walk makes a loop around the village. The route begins by skirting the Erzenbach then climbs rapidly towards the Amselkopf pass before emerging on the rock of Hirnelestein. At the top of the rock, the view of the surroundings is just superb. The path then joins the starting point between forest and fields.
