This is an easy loop around the Cruagh Wood following a section of the Dublin Mountain Way. The trail is moderate, combining gravel roads with boardwalks and footpaths. The trail goes uphill with a steep incline in the first half to come back down more progressively. The forest is stunning with its vibrant moss carpeting and the views of Dublin are lovely.
