This is a wonderful loop around Diamond Lake and the Rocky Mountain track in Otago, Northeast of Queenstown. The track is steep, has a few sections with stairs and can be muddy at times. The panoramic views along the way are wonderful on Lake Wanaka and the mountains in the distance. The area offers many branching off tracks that can be fun and short additions to the walk.
