A beautiful there-and-back trail leading to Lake Marian in the heart of Hanging Valley in the Fiordland National Park. The trail has a constant and moderate incline with a stony but levelled terrain. The views at the end are simply wonderful with the lake surrounded by snowy peaks between the ever changing game of shadows on the slopes.
