This is a fantastic and easy loop around Loch Morlich in Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands. The trail is very well-maintained and well-marked mostly following wide gravelled tracks making it a great option for hikers of all ages and ability. The views on the water are quaint and the vistas opening on the hills in the distance, which can be snowy at times are wonderful. There is a thriving wildlife around the banks of the water and hikers might be lucky to spot birds along their walk.
