This is an iconic loop to Arthur's Seat, a remnant of an ancient volcano, in Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, which offers breathtaking cityscapes and peaceful green spaces. The trail is moderate following a well-maintained path, either on paved or grassy dirt tracks with a light gradient uphill and downhill and a few rockier sections. Despite its central location, the summit boasts surprising wildness with rocky paths and lovely panoramic views on the city.
