Not far from Denver, this is a great loop around the Chavez and Beaver Brook Trail, in Genesee Park, Colorado. The trail is moderate and shaded as the meanders along a creek under the trees and is a great option for a day away from the city bustle. The views are calming and there are some swimming spots along the way, a great way to cool down in summer.
