This is a there-and-back trail that begins at Eagles Nest at the top of Thredbo's Kosciuszko Express chairlift to ascend Mt Kosciuszko, Australia's highest peak at 2,228 m. The trail is moderate and well maintained. It offers beautiful views on the alpine landscape and mountain ranges around. The altitude vegetation adds to the charm of the walk. The trail can also be done in winter time but it’s best to check weather conditions before undertaking it.
