This a great there-and-back hike to the top of Mount Cooroora in the Tuchekoi National Park, on the edge of Pomona, Queensland. Beginning under the trees, the trail has relatively varied terrain with dirt tracks, stair passages and a bit more of a rocky climb towards the top and a steep incline almost all the way up. Hikers are likely to use their hands to scramble a bit. The panoramic views at the top are lovely and reach far across the plains with Mount Cooran and other mountain ranges in the distance, making the climb worth it.
