This is a great historical loop through the Forest of Bowland Area (AONB) ascending the iconic Pendle Hill, steeped in legend and intrigue. Begin in the charming village of Barley, and follow well-marked paths, part of the scenic Pendle Way.

The trail is moderate with a manageable gradient to Pendle Hill and then gradually comes back down. There are many great views throughout the walk. This captivating route promises a blend of natural beauty, historical intrigue (watch out for witches), and a touch of the legendary.
