Explore the enchanting Tolkien Trail, a loop circuit through the picturesque landscapes of Forest of Bowland AONB. This is a very moderate trail with lovely views and scenery. Beginning in Hurst Green, the trail winds past historic landmarks like Stoneyhurst College before meandering through fields and woodlands. It follows the tranquil River Hodder, passing through Spring Wood to reach the confluence with the River Ribble. A lovely and quaint walk!
