Discover this iconic loop in the Yorkshire Dales National Park around the Malham Circuit as it passes by Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar, and Malham Cove. The trail begins swiftly to Janet’s Foss with its wonderful waterfall to continue on a steep rocky path along cliff sides to the Gordale Scar and some interesting geological limestone formations to finally arrive at Malham Cove, a very old limestone rock face which majestically opens in a semi-circle. The views are varied, ever changing at the turn of a bend and fantastic throughout testifying of an impressive geological past.
