This is a lovely loop to summit Mount Whernside passing the Ribblehead viaduct in the Yorkshire Dale National Park. The trail is moderate, starting on flat ground and then becomes a little more inclined to summit the peak and then progressively come back down. The route mostly follows a wide gravel track and footpaths with some stone paved sections. The views on the viaduct are impressive and the views on the valley at the top are lovely. There is also a great waterfall on the way and some sheep roaming freely in the area.
